    I200M Restoration

BAL-AMi Restoration Project Down Under

One of the regular contacts to this site is Graeme Harvey, who lives in Australia. In 2007, Graeme finished restoring a BAL-AMi I200M. Below are some photos of the project.

This I200M was purchased, in working order, by Graeme in Brisbane and shipped 2,000km over to Victoria.

The Perspex windscreen had scratches and even holes in it. A mold was made from the screen and a new one manufactured from it.

After the strip-down, all screws, springs and internal metal were sent for re-plating.

The amp was stripped down and rebuilt with new EL34 valves.
