E80 - Plymouth

This E80 is being restored in 2020/21. The amplifier has been brought back to life by Bob Harper Jukebox Restorations. It isn't a Beam Echo amp, and Bob had to do a lot of digging to try and work out what type of amp it is to get some idea of the design - no schematic is available either.

With the help of regular contributor to this site, Tony Holmes, it appears to be made by Rogers (a name which survives to this day albeit under different ownership).

We don't know if that amp was the one originally installed at the factory, or whether it was a later replacement - but it now sounds great!
